Hi! I’m Lucy, a freelance print designer with over 10 years of international knowledge in designing and manufacturing textile prints.

My background:

Working as a designer for one of Europe's leading fabric and garment manufacturers, I have a thorough understanding of textile manufacturing; when a printing process is best suited, which designs will benefit from a specific method, and what the limitations are. I've spent years ensuring designs are fit for production - so I'm a pro at colour separating, indexing and changing colourways on designs.

I’ve also had the pleasure of working with highstreet retailers, luxury brands and smaller start ups during my career and understand that every client has different needs, but ultimately the same goal: an end product that appeals to their audience.

I’m skilled in identifying emerging trends and translating these using a diverse and flexible handwriting - able to adapt to a brand’s visual identity while maintaining quality and commercial appeal. I can offer various levels of freelance support depending on the needs of your brand or business.
